Anne's Review

It says on the cover of the book ‘White lies, dark humour and deadly consequences…..
And that, in part, sums it up. But there is so much more to this engrossing novel.
June and Athena were friends. Both intended to be the rising literary stars of the future. However, Athena is already recognised as being a promising writer, whereas June is a nobody.
So, when June witnesses Athena’s death in a freak accident whilst they are alone together at Athenas apartment, June realizes that Athena has left her only just completed, masterpiece of a novel, unedited on her desk.
Why not steal it and pretend it is hers?
Why not indeed? So, Junes edits it and send it in as her own novel. All to great acclaim from publishers and reviewers alike.
AND that is as much as I can tell you without giving the game away, accept to say that the novel itself is superbly written and quite addictive!

Publisher's review
"Athena Liu is a literary darling and June Hayward is literally nobody.
White lies
When Athena dies in a freak accident, June steals her unpublished manuscript and publishes it as her own under the ambiguous name Juniper Song.
Dark humour
But as evidence threatens June’s stolen success, she will discover exactly how far she will go to keep what she thinks she deserves.
Deadly consequences…
What happens next is entirely everyone else’s fault."
