Diary of an Oxygen Thief
Diary of an Oxygen Thief
Orion's Review
The anonymous author has written a story of twisted love: the pain and the suffering we inflict upon each other in the search for love through infatuation. The book shows how, whether consciously or unconsciously, people engage in a cruel game of captivation and asphyxiation of the heart and the soul. We see how the cycle can repeat itself until it becomes more than a game but an art form, in which the He of the book becomes a master of this abstraction. We ask: how does such a cold heartless man fare when it’s His being that is being tortured?
Publisher's Review
Hurt people hurt people.
Say there was a novel in which Holden Caulfield was an alcoholic and Lolita was a photographer's assistant and, somehow, they met in Bright Lights, Big City. He's blinded by love. She by ambition. DIARY OF AN OXYGEN THIEF is an honest, hilarious, and heartrending novel, but above all, a very realistic account of what we do to each other and what we allow to have done to us.
