Nick's Review

Kaya!

Ever wondered about why our seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter never match the actual weather; and ever wondered what the actual meaning is behind many of the suburbs in Perth such as Nollamara? Well Jayden's book will educate you.

Jayden Boundry has created a fantastic book for all Australian's young and small. The book is a reflection on Jayden's passion for teaching his language and culture; and it is shines though in this new book. I recently watched Jayden present his book to twenty 3 and 4 year old kids down at Cottesloe Kindy. A tall order for any presenter is to keep such a group entertained when attention spans do not last much longer than that of a goldfish. Jayden kept them all spell bound for half an hour. Not only were the kids spell bound but the adults in the room and teachers were spell bound too. Jayden is one of the up and coming ambassadors of WA - an amazing teacher and author.

Jayden is starting a conversation amongst the younger generations which moves away from us and them to us. To an all inclusive culture where all of us are proud of a shared heritage.
