Author Bio
Poh Ling Yeow first made her way into our hearts during the first season of MasterChef back in 2009. She is an artist, self-taught cook, avid gardener and all-round charmer. Poh was born in Malaysia and moved to Australia with her family at the age of nine. After working as a graphic designer, illustrator and make-up artist, Poh's food career took off when she appeared on the first season of MasterChef in 2009. Shortly after, Poh was offered her own cooking show Poh's Kitchen on the ABC, which ran for three seasons. In 2015, she made Poh & Co series for SBS, a fly on the wall look into her hectic life as a cook, artist and small business owner. In 2020, Poh returned to MasterChef for Season 10: Back to Win, where she was a firm audience favourite. Since then, she has hosted Channel 9's hit new reality TV program Snackmasters and appeared on Network 10's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Alongside her roles on TV, Poh has also written three cookbooks and co-owns Jamface, where she bakes and sells delicious cakes, biscuits and pastries to appreciative Adelaide locals. Poh also still finds time to pursue a third career as a visual artist, painting professionally for over ten years with 14 solo exhibitions under her belt.
